I only heard of him recently myself, but was impressed with what I heard.
Reminiscent, to me, of early Joe Jackson/Graham Parker. In a similar vein,
an artist named John Vanderslice is also worth checking out. I'd call both
Ted and John 'hard-edged pop.' See what you think.
