   He who makes sunshine asked...
You're listening to a CD...could be a mix CD or a CD proper. You get to one
song that absolutely floors you, and you play it again and again and again
and again. Over and over and over.

Yes. Most recently for me was from The Figg's disc "Sucking in Stereo".
I've heard "Reaction" about 20 times and the rest of the disc maybe once.
The rest of the disc on first listen isn't THAT different but there is
something special about "Reaction" that grabs me so much more.
Also recently rediscovering Stevie Wonder's "Boogie on Reggae Woman" (f*ck
what a song!).

Others that come to mind

Your Breaking My Heart: June and the Exit Wounds
No Regrets: Scott Walker
Unsatisfied: Replacements (long ago)
People Say/Way you Walk: Papas Fritas (I tire of some of their stuff but not
these two songs)
Sloan: Money City Maniacs
Sloan: Everything You've Done Wrong
Flaming Lips: Spider bite song
Flamin Groovies: Shake Some Action
Sparks: Happy Hunting Ground
Anton Barbeau: Octagon
DM3: TV Sound
DM3: Second Floor
Brad Jones: The Staton Island Line

Many more..

best, Steve D.
(hmmm, now the praise for Tim Rodger's solo disc has me curious to pick it
up too).
