Absolutely great stuff, and I personally prefer the first over the
second. Check out Doopy too, hard to find but worth it if you like
Popium. Another is Pogo Pops. They have at least three CDs, but one is
pretty bad. I'll have to put them on for a spin so I make sure I tell
you which one would be closest to the Popium sound.

Greetings all...

I swear...no more top 5 lists!!

Anyhow...last year, I was seriously digging Popium's
debut disc that featured "I Can't Get That Love Song
Outta My Head". I thought they outdid Oasis in every
way shape and form. Very melodic and jangly ala
Merrymakers. Tad bit heavier than the Merrymakers!

Now I've got the follow up disc called "Permanently High"...which was
actually released in 2002...not sure when.

The lead track called "Silver Lining" will simy sweep
you away! The whole disc is just superb....including
a very cool Swede Pop cover of Kiss's "Deuce"!

Anyone else on this bandwagon??

Mark
