In looking for more info on The Shins, I've learned that a member (or
members?) were previously in a band called Flake (later Flake Music.) For
those of you that have heard them, how do they compare to the Shins? And
does anyone know where I can find the Flake Music disc if it's worth
pursuing. Finally, has anyone happened to burn the vinyl Shins' releases? I
love their CD! Can't explain what exactly about it renders up such good
feelings (perhaps some feeling of nostalgia & good memories? I don't know.)
Stewart, New Mexico, huh? Never would've guessed it. I was thinking UK all
the way. Way off!!
