I have The Kooks CD, "Verbal Jujistu".  It's decent enough modern pop with a
bit of quirkiness, but the lead vocalist is a bit too over the top for me.
You can check out the band at www.thekooks.nu

The Beat Angels CDs are pretty good but not great slices of glam-pop, but
live is where they really shine.  Lead vocalist Brian Smith is quite the
performer, strutting gleefully around the stage, really getting into the
whole glam rock experience.
