I recently received the Baypop compilation and was immediately hooked by the
opening cut by the band Baby Grand.  I just got their full length CD,
"Spectrum", and it's really good stuff!  It sounds like an American take on
the indie side of late '80s UK female-fronted bands like The Primitives, The
Darling Buds, The Shop Assitants, and The Flatmates.  Check 'em out at
