Not necessarily bands, but bands and solo artists.
1)Mccartney/Beatles ( actually grew up with Wings albums as a little kid so 
the Macca memory is very strong)
2)Beachboys ( Sunflower the very best and most underrated BB album)e.g 
Dierdre
3)Eric Carmen
4)Gilbert O'Sullivan (Claire, Alone again,naturally)
5)ELO
