Okay, I'm a bit confused...You've described the Datsuns, who are from
New Zealand, but you've called them "The D4", which I thought was the
abbreviation for the group called "The Datsuns 4" (who I believe are from
Toronto). They're two separate groups, right? Somebody straighten me
out here. Did I miss the memo on this one?

P.S. I just found out that the Datsuns from New Zealand -- who "basically 
just come off like a bunch of dickheads" -- used to be called Trinket. Can
you imagine the confusion if they'd come to play here in L.A.?
