Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, there were 2 Newberry's stores that I
remember. I always kinda thought they were all over LA (as a kid actually
thought that they were all over the world). How about The Akron? Got my
first acoustic from an Akron store when I was 10. Another cool store I
remember was simply called "Stor", was one of the first 'big box' models
that was ahead of it's time. I do remember they had some of the lamest
commercials tho.
