Canadian Music Week will take place in Toronto (where else?) from
February 27 to March 1, 2003. "Toronto's most popular clubs and music
halls throw open their doors to industry insiders and the general public
to create an electrifying musicfest of discovery. The talented unsigned
bands are music to the ears of A&R reps on the lookout for next year's
stars." More info at <http://www.cmw.net/>. The Telepathic Butterflies
, The Grip Weeds, Asteroid 4 and Outrageous Cherry will be playing at
Zaphod's in Ottawa on Thursday, February 27 and Rancho Relaxo in Toronto
on Saturday, March 1. Other pop/rock bands playing CMW include Shoes,
The Supers, The Lackloves, The Heavy Blinkers, The Weekend, The
Whereabouts, Paper Moon, etc.
