Are these the new mixes Alec Palao did? He had the drummer add in some new bits
that were missing on the master tapes. I don't know if I totally agree with this
sort of thing. One of my complaints about these "remasters" is when they mess
with the history. I don't think everything needs to be "remixed" in a modern
style. There is nothing wrong with having the drums on one side....I don't need
to get the stereo Pet Sounds or the remixed Yellow Submarine. I would hate it if
one day all you could get were "remixed Beatles albums". er, well isn't that
what we have now? Teo Macero was pretty upset about what they did to Bitches
Brew. There are a lot of Who songs you can not get anymore in the proper
versions. I don't know why they can just cut the new cds from the original
mixes. Didn't hurt on the Stones or Traffic.
