It's just a shame that Tim's voice is not the beautiful instrument it was.
Where once it was sweet and clear, it is now low and grumbly, without any of
those wonderful highs. I guess age has not been kind.  He still remains one
of my top favorite vocalists of all time, but his most recent work is not
doing him any favors here at Spaz Central. .

My opinion is that Neil's songwriting in the Enz was very spotty.  "I Got
You". wow! "One Step Ahead". amazing. Then again...."Iris" is weak.  "Ships"
is weaker still.  "Log Cabin Fever"? Yikes.

 I think he really grew as a writer during Crowded House.  In fact, he was
getting better but lost it, IMHO, when he broke the band up.  He has written
some good songs on his solo albums, but nothing has really flipped my
switch.  I'm still hoping....

Tim's days in the Enz is another story.  Hardly a bad song in the umpteen
years he led the band, in my opine.
