First of all, everyone STOP SLAMMING MY GREG, m'kay? I swear, his recorded
acoustic guitar sound is one of the best ever ("C'Est la Vie"", anyone?).
Regarding his bass playing, well, I always preferred it when Keith Emerson
played the bass notes whilst Greg was on guitar; tasty waves, dude.
And, Gene, yes, that was Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy, tons of other projects)
*shredding* all over Greg Lake's self-titled solo release. Coincidentally, I
recently spied a cassette of that album (of all things) and snapped it up;
the first cassette I've purchased in more than a decade. Gotta play that
this weekend.
Completely befondled,
