I'm excluding The Beatles since I never bought any of their albums at
the time of release. Actually, I didn't have to since my older sister
had them all. I loved The Beatles but was too young at the time to
really feel that much of an impact. Too busy being a kid I guess. For me
it started in the spring of 72 when I was 13 and in the eighth grade,
probably a prime time for a lot of people. In chronoligical order over a
12 month period:

Badfinger
Todd Rundgren
Raspberries
Faces
Mott The Hoople

Hard to believe that by the end of 75 all were gone but Todd.
