I'll play too. As a newbie to this list and a first time poster, please be gentle.
1. Rolling Stones- I was conceived after the Stones concert in Winnipeg 1966 so music was a part of me even at the embyonic/zygotic stage.
2. Queen- When I was 7 I used to break into my Aunt's bedrrom and play A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races over & over again regardless of the fact that I had never heard of them before. Musical self discovery if fun at any age.
3. Bay City Rollers- A total obsession from ages 8-13 with another foray a few years ago into Rollerland when I helped to organize fan gatherings in the UK.
4. The Stooges- Not a natural progression I realize but great angry/angst music for my teen years & beyond.
5. Split Enz- My first concert was for their Time & Tide tour in Victoria BC at the Royal Theatre. The Payolas opened for them and it was a real treat to have Paul Hyde as part of the Bullseye Night at the most recent IPO in NY at Arlene Grocery.

PS- A message to Gary Pig---- JACK!
5. Split Enz
