I'll have a go:

>Matthew Sweet

100% FUN and IN REVERSE float my boat. Scattered songs throughout other cd's
I really like, but I agree with Stewart, inconsistent other than the two
listed.

>Squeeze

ARGYBARGY, EAST SIDE STORY, SINGLES 45's and UNDER, A ROUND AND ABOUT...many
other singles, but the first two are classics, flawless.

>XTC

>Some albums I prefer over others, but there's never been one I've genuinely
>disliked, and I think the string from DRUMS AND WIRES through MUMMER is as
>strong as any four-album stretch out there. LOVE
I agree with Stewart as well with DRUMS, ENGLISH SETTLEMENT, SKYLARKING, and
NONESUCH being my faves. Waited in line 3 hours to meet them...got a
picture...nice folks...

>Owsley

Love this. Can't wait for more. Great live show!!

>Splitsville

Greenberry Woods was spotty to me...I liked "Trampoline" and "Sentimental
Role" and most of the first...DID NOT like BIG MONEY ITEM at all. From
COMPLETE PET SOUL on, I'm hooked....

>The Merrymakers

Didn't care for NO SLEEP 'TIL FAMOUS, but LOVE BUBBLEGUN. Their sparsely
attended performance at POPTOPIA at Spaceland will be imprinted into my
memory forever as one of the best live shows ever....up there with
Jellyfish's incredible live shows.

>Myracle Brah

I like it all, although I can understand some folks comments of
"sameyness"--although I would say give BLEEDER a listen before you count
them out totally. Mr. Bobb did some nice sonic stretching this time out.

>Teenage Fanclub

BANDWAGONESQUE, GRAND PRIX, HOWDY...really do it for me. I like their other
stuff, but these are VERY consistent to me.

>Cherry Twister

I actually have a copy of their first which I found in the U.K. used. Don't
like it at all and have thought about putting it on eBay as I've been told
it fetches large amounts. HOWEVER, AT HOME WITH is awesome. I gave a copy
to a good friend--Hiroshi Kuse of Airmail Recordings who also liked it as he
released it on his label with bonus tracks.

>Aimee Mann

>I tend to agree with the "she can be too samey" contingent, but on the
>other hand, I *like* what she's samey at, if that makes any sense, and no
>one who can write a song like "Ghost World" or "That's Just What You Are"
>can be discounted. LOVE
Agreed. The only album that fell flat for me was I'M WITH STUPID.

>Sloan

Have owned several albums and sold them back, cannot get into them, dunno
why....just doesn't stick.

>The Shazam

Have yet to check them out....I know...:)
