I think you are right. But remember, there are people here who own
everything Curt Boettcher and Paul McCartney ever put out (guilty.) So
there is a hell of a broad spectrum, and not everyone will like every band.
I mean, if I recall, Jamie doesn't particularly like the Beatles. The
Beatles!
I don't like to "dis" any band in the Audities fold, so usually if I have
nothing nice to say I just shut up. But for reasons that elude me, I was
just never grabbed by FOW. And I bought both their albums. But it just
never happened for me. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll pop 'em in and see
the light. Its happened before (I remember saving a cassette I recorded off
the radio of U2 at Red Rocks because I kept thinking, "Some day I might like
this band." And someday I did.)

Lackloves. Again, it's fine, but the division of us "scenesters" is probably
why we can never propel a power-pop band beyond our o!
