So if you like 'em, then spread the word about 'em; I loved "Mission: You,"
and I've certainly tried hype it as much as possible. But if John doesn't
like 'em (if, in fact, it was his comments to which you're referring), he's
certainly not obligated to lie and pretend that he does, just to give the
genre of *powerpop* a boost; God knows he's done enough to hype bands within
the genre that he DOES like.
To each their own, and all that...

Like 'em or not, they are a part of this *powerpop* scene that so many here
claim isn't getting enough attention from the mainstream.
IMO, these guys would have a much better chance making a dent if they had
support from those here who spread the word.
