"Dumb, Gifted and Beautiful" is one of my fave "lost" records of the '90s.
IMO, this one could have been a smash, given the right promotion, but I think
the label (Ardent) was going belly up at the time. It rocks pretty hard (top
moments are "You're All Forgiven" and "Surrounded"), but never at the expense
of melody. The title track---a sarcastic-yet-pretty ballad---is one of my
fave tunes of the '90s.
